The 2013 show season has officially started! I am so excited to show off my new designs, and get to go trade with other artists. That is one of my favorite things about doing art fairs, is doing some shopping of my own.  One artist I remember particularly from last season is Helen Gotlib. She makes big drawings that are both incredibly detailed, but leave a lot to the imagination. Here is one of her pieces from her Etsy Shop. This one is so incredible to me. I love that she gets the shape of each petal in some places, and then fades out to have the sunflowers become the atmosphere. It seems very spiritual to me. Here’s hoping I run into her at another show this year!
