art in the park

I can’t wait for Asheville Art in the Park next weekend. It will be so nice to do a show right here in town, and hang out in Pack square. It’s the same day as the River arts District Studio  Stroll, so it will be the best art day ever. Go here for the website.

neon purple is awesome

I have been wanting to incorporate more color into my pieces. I thought powder coating would be a great way to do it! I got back the pieces this week and love this intense deep purple.  Now I’m thinking of all sorts of ways to incorporate powder coating.

My dear friend Alana visited this week, and I kept thinking she would be a great model for my jewelry! I particularly like the triple gem necklace on her.

There is a lovely painter in the river arts district named Molly Courcelle. I keep running into her work all over town and love it. I can’t decide which piece I want for my own yet though. There are too many to choose from! Visit her at her etsy for swirly nature forms galore!

Taking photos of my work is always fun, but really hard. I keep experimenting with new techniques. Each time I try something new i think I get a teeeeny bit better. here is my most recent experiment with photographing.
